Wherever He Leads Me
My Spiritual Journey with My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
By Helen S. Liu

I humbly dedicate this testimony to my beloved
Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

The Author’s Preface

This is my testimony of how God has blessed me. Through simple words, it gives you a detailed story. The Lord guided me, a weak woman, who was wearied and burdened.  Through years of war and chaos, He touched me and moved me to live a new life in Him. It also tells of how He called me to serve Him as a full time missionary for many years.

Now that I am eighty-two, I know that I do not have many years left in this world. I have lived many years in the United States without much of a chance to use Chinese. Therefore, I have found it more and more difficult to write many Chinese characters and strokes, especially the ones rarely used. Yet, the Lord has blessed me with good health and a good memory. I have finished this autobiography without losing any time. The one and only purpose of this book is to make known to people in the world of our true God — His abundant grace and great love, the redemption by Jesus Christ, and the protection as well as guidance from the Holy Spirit. My hope is that those who read this story will accept Jesus as their personal savior, have new life and enjoy the peace, joy and never-ending happiness in our heavenly home.

If I don’t give testimony for God, even the rocks on the ground will cry out and say, “You people, who have been blessed, why do you keep your mouth closed? Why don’t you give glory to our true immortal God?”

It is my sincere wish to present these few five loaves and two fishes to the Lord. In themselves, they are nothing. But with the Lord, He will divide and multiply — giving them to those who are spiritually hungry for the truth and light. May the name of our heavenly Father be glorified!

The Author’s Preface for the English Translation

The above preface was originally written when this book was first published in the year of 2000 in my native language of Chinese and was titled “My Spiritual Journey in Lord Jesus Christ” by Liu Sung Shu Hsien.

The response from many readers in Taiwan and United States for the first edition was overwhelming. The second edition was published in December of 2008.  Many copies have been brought to and distributed in China by Christian individuals and organizations since then.

On April 24, 2006, my beloved husband Yung Kwei Liu left the earth to be with the Lord.  I spent a great amount of time mourning my life time love and partner. Now that I am 92, I have the urge to publish this book in English with a new title for the benefit of those who cannot read the original Chinese version.

This book was first translated by an overseas Chinese scholar in the U.S. several years ago and recently refined by an American Christian lady friend here in Orange County, California. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to both of them for their time and effort.

May God richly bless each of you and your loved ones.
